Artist, Ana Maria Hernando, creates paintings, drawings and prints with a layering of natural and formal elements. Designs taken from the mantillas and mantones worn for church and the festivities of her Spanish background are blended with images of plants and insects. Hernando shows her work internationally including, the Tweed Museum of Art, Naropa University, A.R.C Gallery in Chicago and Niko Gulland in Buenos Aires.

Project: Catalog
The catalog for Ana Maria Hernando was produced for the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. The die-cut and sewn binding reflects the artists unique style which uses hand sewn fabric as well as elements with freeform holes.
